In the Insurance Project, we scaled Agile practices across multiple teams working on different components of a large claims management system. We adopted frameworks like SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework) to maintain coordination between teams working on different modules. Regular alignment sessions (Scrum of Scrums) and synchronized sprint cycles were crucial to keep everyone on the same page.
What I learned from this experience is that advanced Agile project management requires discipline and clear communication. With multiple teams working together, it was important to maintain a unified direction while allowing flexibility within individual teams to meet their specific goals.
Key Learning: Scaling Agile requires additional frameworks and coordination, but with the right processes in place, it’s possible to maintain flexibility while aligning multiple teams on the same objective.
